Crush&Brisk was born out of friendship and a passion for wine and winemaking.

An Urban Micro-Négoce
We don’t have a vineyard or a winery but have a passion for wine and wine making. Crush&Brisk has teamed up with the amazing wine maker Sergio Verrillo to produce this Blanc de Noirs. Together with Sergio, we have picked a number of vineyards to source grapes and have designed a wine that we wanted to drink.




OUR PHILOSOPHY
Making the best wine we can
Our priority has been quality over quantity and learning and adapting to each year.
We listen carefully to suppliers, customers and our team to allow us to make the best wine we can and to try and do something a bit different.
We have used champagne yeast, native yeast, barrels / no barrels, 65% press / 60% press – changing and hopefully improving each year. Time will tell!
Making Exceptional Sparkling Wine
Geography
When we started Crush & Brisk we lived 10 minutes from the winery. It made sense to work locally! All our grapes come from within a 2 hour drive. We’ve supported new and small vineyards.
Making wine
We work with visionary wine maker Sergio Verrillo. Working with him we make decisions about each vintage depending on the grapes and how we’re feeling!
Exemplary taste
Because we are making such small batches, we can be flexible and can monitor things very carefully. It’s all about getting the best result from the year.

Enjoy with friends
We’ve found that the 2019 Blanc de Noirs goes well with or without food. Inspired by a small Champagne bar in Paris we quite often have a glass with some delicious slices of Comté.
